once upon a time, there were jeans and sneakers that climbed trees and listened to records. they went on bike rides and took photos and dreamed of great things like buying more records and taking longer bike rides.

sometimes they were a little cold in just their jeans and sneakers and needed to cover their skinny chests. so they went out and played with sharpies and pencils and ink and screens and made drawings and doodles and put them on some soft cotton t-shirts to cover themselves and run and sing more every day.

and other people also came out to play and wanted to have cute beasts and abstract blocks and line drawings of faces on their chests too.

and so that is the story of how 2 boys made t-shirts for each other and their friends and then people started to want to buy them. and they did.
